As we all know fashion week is an event of fashion industry which lasts approximately for a week or so where fashion designers and brands can show their up to date collection in runway shows and the media and the  buyers can take a look at the latest trend of fashion. All over the world many metropolitan fashion weeks are very famous like New York, London, and Milan. But Paris fashion week deserves a special mention as we all know that Paris is the capital of fashion; new trends and ideas emerged from here.

Paris fashion week is held semi-annually every year in Paris, France with Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter events and it’s the part of the Big4 fashions weeks all over the world. The cycle starts with New York fashion week, followed by London fashion week, and then Milan fashion week, and the events end in Paris. Paris fashion week not only creates a chance for the people to take a close look at the fashion industry but it also concentrate on promoting France’s fashion talent to the world. Paris fashion week have a massive program package which consists of official catwalks, after parties, and off-calendar events. This fashion week with all its collection acts like a host to a calendar of men’s and women’s fashion weeks.

Along with the designers from all over the world many big fashion houses like Giorgio Armani, Alberta Ferretti, Guess, Eres, Armani Exchange, Hugo Boss, Genny, Ghost, Diesel, Christian Dior, DKNY, Givenchy, Chanel, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, came to Paris to participate in Paris fashion week. Paris fashion week’s spring summer collection displays summer season suitable cloths, using light fabrics like cotton, linen and light and pastel shades are preferred. Francois Henri, Andrew GN, Jeremy Scott, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Sophia Kokosalki are some brands displaying their designs in spring/summer collection and designers like Nina Ricci, Giambattista Valli, Elie Saab, Sybilla, Collette Dinnigan, PYuki Torii, Guy Laroche, John Galliano, Barbara Bui, Kenzo prepare their designs for fall winter collection which displays warm ready to wear evening dresses and party wear for winter. So this fashion week is one of the best and most important one in fashion industry.
